I wanted to play Quiplash, but I realized I had to buy it on Steam, someone had to host it on a PC, connect a TV, and everyone had to watch the same screen. It felt way too heavy for a simple party game. So I built TEQ, basically a browser version of Quiplash. No Steam, no TV, no downloads; everyone just joins on their own device. I also added public lobbies so you can play even without friends online.
The author is sharing a browser-based game called TEQ, an alternative to Quiplash, with the HN community.
