Hi HN - I was tired of news that felt like doom-scrolling disguised as information. Most feeds optimize for engagement, not signal, and I wanted a way to quickly see what’s actually moving the world forward.

So I built Clarion — an AI editor that reads thousands of articles per hour, filters out the noise, scores the meaningful breakthroughs, and produces a clean digest you can read in minutes.

I initially built this for myself but quickly found this resonating with founders, execs and other busy people. Would love your feedback to make this product better.

Ingestion: Lambda workers + Supabase Edge Scoring: Custom AI classification pipeline (Gemini 2.5 flash-lite, Gemini 2.5 Pro and Claude) Frontend: Vite, React, TypeScript Infra: Supabase Postgres on AWS

The author introduces Clarion, an AI-powered news digest that filters out noise and highlights meaningful breakthroughs, designed for busy professionals.
