Interviews can feel like a waking nightmare. Going blank during a coding challenge is right up there with the presenting-while-naked dream. In my case, much of that stress boils down to just how much of the process is outside of my control: the job market, my interviewer, the questions they ask, and all the other folks vying for that same role. I wrote up some strategies that work for me and that I've seen work for others when I was on the other side of the table. They all revolve around the things you can control or at least strongly influence: your mindset, your degree of preparation, your behavior during the interview, and how you approach failure.
