Ask HN: Can you communicate with a dog if you give it a Neuralink-like implant?

I can communicate with a dog without any implant, just like most people. Even if I couldn't, though, I certainly wouldn't give a dog a brain implant to enable it. I'd consider that cruel.

Please don't. That's vivisection and inappropriate. If you love dogs, you can communicate with them just fine using the same methods we've had for 100,000 years.
