Every image feels fake. Like picking up and biting into a petit four to find it is fondant all the way through. I find no creativity. No human touch. Little red riding hood looks like a Chinese knock-off.

We had fake images aplenty of course, via stock photo databases etc., and this seems like the next step, so it will be used on a massive scale…

I am curious to know how people will respond to these in time though. Mild aversion like with those recruiting photos showing a carefully balanced diverse team with bright smiles and lots of extravert signalling in a super bright office with lots of windows, clean surfaces, and pristine Fruit-brand laptops and monitors tackling some tricky XML serialisation bug in their legacy SAML plugin?

By the way, the '20 credits for daily check-in' in the free tier feels a little scummy in a dark-pattern kind of way.

Even the text in this post feels generated.

Also the images are mostly terrible. The "pixel art" is laughably bad and everything else is just shiny and plastic-y. I actually hope that the image generation never gets better, because at least now it's extremely easy to spot them.
