So... this is like Kickstarter, but for athletes to come play for your university?
Yes, that's a great way to think about it, but with a key difference: it's completely risk-free for the fan.
On Kickstarter, your pledge is often gone if the project fails. On our platform, the fan's contribution is held and only delivered if the athlete actually commits to that specific school. If they don't, the fan gets a full refund.
It also functions as a full compliance and management tool on the backend for the athletes, helping them navigate complex NCAA rules.
So who gets the money if the athlete commits? The athlete?
