>“Shorts are a core part of the YouTube experience,”
I find that sort of amusing as my experience with the Youtube app is that I click on Shorts and it shows me NOTHING. The reason they give is that I have watch history turned off. Presumably it has no idea what to recommend so it shows me nothing?
I can use the rest of Youtube with watch history turned off.
It's a core part of youtube, but only if you do what they say.
