Is it wise? Depends! Does your team have strong technical guidance, and a long term outlook on the strength of the platform you are building? Great, you can probably hire any good developer and have time to train them to build within your less common framework or boutique platform. Choose whatever tools you think are actually best.
Are you a startup with no developers who needs a product fast? Well shoot, you are absolutely swimming in React dev resumes, seems like a great place to start! Maybe it won't be the best outcome, but a good outcome will still do the trick.
