Making a good movie is really hard and rare thing. So if they tried hard, it would not increase the odds much because there is no "formula" for making a good movie. Only exceptional directors do it and even they can't even do it all the time. See Ridley scott and director of disaster thing called Cats. Also Zack Snyder
