I wrote this piece to dig into the structural reasons why AI often feel “useless” despite model advancements. My thesis is that we’re missing a unified system layer to address the fragmentation in development and distribution.
We are building Charm to become that layer. We’ve just completed the initial architecture design and started implementation, and we plan to open-source it. Here’s our repo: https://github.com/CharmAIOS/Charm
I’d appreciate feedback from people who have built agents or worked across multiple frameworks, and I’m also actively looking to connect with people who are interested in exploring or building this together.
