But on a more basic level, many communities near data centers have reported impact to the quality of their water supply, noise pollution that makes it hard to sleep, and of course a massive change to their environment with a giant eyesore of a building ruining green landscapes. Something has to change. Tech companies can’t just violate people and communities for their gains.
