As a tech demo for PowerPC performance, it was beautiful.
It was ported to NeXTStep-based macOS with the new millennium.
You can still find an equation graphing app in Applications → Utilities; it's called "Grapher".
I just checked on my MacBook, macOS Tahoe Release Candidate, and the app is part of the immutable /System partition at /System/Applications/Utilities/Grapher.app
