The Death of Arduino?
Key topics
I know a lot of people avoid LinkedIn like the plague, but the two key bits are that Qualcomm's new "Terms of Service" explicitly disallow reverse engineering, claim IP ownership of anything submitted to the platform, and claim a right to use any and all data associated with accounts connected to Arduino for pretty much any purpose they want. Limor goes into more detail but at the end of the day I agree with her assessment that this will be the end of Arduino.
The acquisition of Arduino by Qualcomm has raised concerns about the platform's future due to Qualcomm's restrictive Terms of Service, potentially killing the open-source spirit of Arduino.
