This doesn't seem like a productive attitude or one designed to maximize success. Holding people hostage does not promote good morale or enhance retention and/or attract top talent to the company. An AI robotics company that includes robot cars requires quite a bit of top shelf brain power to implement, more than Musk can provide along with Stockholm syndrome traumatized workers.
