Spending 30 Minutes to Post a Job on Upwork
Key topics
This has nothing to do with academics. Even if possibly it did why would it be Upwork's role to judge that?
I needed a draft of a heating plan for a construction project. That was the egregious assignment. Hello silicon valley dystopia barons: making sweeping judgements automatically is a sure way to alienate a customer. I had never used Upwork before. I went looking for a human who could use Matlab for this assignment because in the previous hour AI had repeatedly assured me it could handle it only to fail miserably. Then I go to presumably human connection service and AI immediately silences my post because it knows better. Insane. If anything these automated bullshit tools are making our lives less productive.
