*Why I built this:* I've always had trouble sleeping, and I've tried countless white noise apps. But they're either packed with ads or require a subscription just to unlock the most basic features. I just wanted a simple, pure tool that I could open and use immediately, without being bombarded by paywalls.
So I decided to build one myself.
*What is it?* A minimalist white noise player. Core features: - Multiple high-quality white noise tracks - Simple timer and volume controls - *Completely free, no ads, no user tracking, no registration required* - Works offline (PWA)
*The business model?* I'm trying a very simple experiment: I placed only one "Buy Me a Coffee" donation link in the footer. No pop-ups, no payment prompts. I believe that if a product truly provides value, users will be willing to support it. This is more of a social experiment than a business model.
*Tech stack:* It's a pure frontend project, built with [Your tech stack, e.g., HTML, CSS, JS, Web Audio API]. The code is completely open source, and I welcome issues or PRs!
*I need your help:* The site is now live, and I'm eager for genuine feedback: 1. What do you think of this idea? 2. How's the loading speed and user experience? 3. Would you use a product like this? What features would you add?
