Between the routine sale of supposedly-private user data to a global ecosystem of brokers, and the endless "BigCorp hacked, personal data for N (or NN, or NNN) million users stolen" headlines - there are very few situations where I'd worry that legal squeezework could force my provider to cough up my data.
