If it was a bunch of absurd AI hype would you care? Everyone is so hyped on speculation, I think it is important to point out the dangers. No one else will. It may help people make more informed decisions.

It might be worse than just the AI investments. Oracle's client base are predominantly enterprises. When enterprises are cutting staff and expenses, they also look at reducing their licensing spends. Oracle has been very predatory with both Java and database licenses fees. I suspect that revenue from those areas is also likely to shrink.
