An important and overlooked part of this is that it is only in bike lanes. I have a class 3 ebike and the bike lanes are so chaotic that I just keep to the street. Insured drivers are much more predictable and safer than your average citi-biker

I don't have an ebike, but I often get to 18 mph on my bike when commuting by bike on a bike path. With a tailwind I can go even faster...
