lasers have long been my in my list of interesting topics. I have done research on this subject before with little to none article on the internet for more information. There are a few white papers i found that made this possible yet they were not related to the specific field of semiconductors processors. My assumptions are from what ive learned about lasers is: (1) the light source and wave length of it is important (2) the emitted light treatment of how it will be processed. (3) The scattered light can be used for computing, lasers have noise when scattered with sharper noise reflections than regular light. this is useful IMO. (4) Further innovation is needed for the components required to accompany this potential.
