I tell my son to do something different everyday - to build memories, because otherwise if we do the same thing everyday it becomes a blur and time passes too quickly. We also don't have memories to reflect on when we're old. I discovered this by accident due to my chaotic life because of bipolar and alcoholism and the work and crazy lengths I had to go to to recover.
