Beware the rise of religious extremism on the right. Kirk seemed to value free speech and libertarian values in life, which is easy to agree to. But many on that “side” are twisting his movement (or revealing it) to be a religious one - including his wife in her recent statements. Lawsuits like this one in Kansas are anti free speech, anti freedom, and based on puritanical moralizing. And as always, these attacks on freedom are framed as being good for kids.
