Employers just found a new failure mode, (AI) and I see no improvement in sight, except some ideas regarding proof of work. So, it's AI against AI now.
Hoping this gets better, but not optimistic.
Does one have to start a company and get acquihired just to get a job? (AI could be the key (word)). I almost landed a job at a company that was shortly bought by Google (and trashed). Glad now that I didn't get the job.
It has needed complete reinvention forever, rather than escalation of the previous failure modes.
