Iphone 16 Pro Max 80% Charge Limit: One Year Later, Was It Worth It?

I do this on my iPad for the same reason. I don’t know if it helps, but it mainly lives on my coffee table, never more than a few feet away from an outlet if I need it, so it’s easy, and feels like a form of cheap insurance. So far it’s a year old and only just ticked down to 99% battery health so I’m crossing my fingers.

I don't think most people buy a new phone every year.
