Ramp, a finance company for corporations to manage spend, did something absolutely amazing in New York with one of the actors from the office recently[1]. Those kinds of activities certainly take trained creatives!
The optimistic view is that there are more ads than ever and the bar for what it takes to stand out has been raised. So as someone with liberal arts degree, there is more opportunity for you to leverage that into commercial and creative work than ever before.

It's bad enough I have to see ads outside the house and on tv/internet, I don't need to see them on my fucking appliances. We are living in hell.
