HN Discuss: Thoughts on the Butlerian Jihad

It's come up a few times on HN. [1] I've made reference to it in a cell phone thread half joking, knowing only some would get the reference. [2] I don't know if our civilization will get to that point. Only time will tell. If we are enslaved then I hope it's at least long after I and those related to me are long gone.
