Philip K. Dick and the Fake Humans was such a beautiful conclusion to the ~2018-ish saga of articles, 'the world is now George Orwell future', 'the world is now Aldous Huxleys future'. It's captured so so well what the internet window shopped realities was leading too. And now they're giving LLM hallucinogens to these goddamned self-maniacing maniacs. They're building better and better faker and fake humans with less and less coupling to reality, more and more demented bias, more and more alien freakishness with not a shred of reality, spur ed further into their rabbit holes of insanity by absurd tortured LLMs. https://www.bostonreview.net/articles/henry-farrell-philip-k...
