Not the parent poster, but I sort of get the notion. There is little correlation between long hours and getting more work done, especially post 50 hours per week. Learning to do more with less time, prioritizing that is, is the more vital skill.

Work can be a lot of fun, but it is certainly not all of life. And we are (somewhat) free to choose what we make of it. Your path might be different from mine, yet again maybe it isn’t.
