Isn't private equity where great brands go to die? I can think of several that succumbed to the temptation to sell off all their parts.

Seems bad to me, given that one of the firms is ran by Jared Kushner. The oligarchs are no longer happy with just owning part of the media and entertainment apparatus, and now want to own all of it. It is funny to see the oligarchs turn on the upper class though as even investors get pushed out in favor of ultra wealthy special interest groups.

IMO the most logical thing is the doubling down on the cashcows that are FIFA and Madden. Microtransactions will be even worse. My only hope is that they sell-off some franchises that have sucked recently (Dragon Age comes to mind) using normal P.E logic of dumping bad assets.
