They do the same thing for Mario, Zelda, Link, Kirby, Donkey Kong, Pikachu and more. Are those also sinister wokeism or are you maybe reading too much into this?

I apologize that an easter egg that displays a cute image of a duck dressed as a video game character made you so upset, but please don't assume bad faith and inject vitrol into a discussion that should be whimsical.

I meant to make this as an Ask HN thread but was hitting a title limit... I was going to comment asking if anyone had found others, but got distracted by the thread on Robert Redford's death[1].

I tested, and it looks like if you revoke permissions for DDG in NoScript the image no longer displays when you search "Luigi" (or other characters like Pikachu.)
