Data Center Developers Urge Nrc to 'unleash' Nuclear Power

I like their proposal but I doubt it will see the light of day unless someone up high pushes it through all the bureaucracy. When I think of the fictional Vogons, I think ma-bell and the NRC and that's even comparing them to the Department of Defense. Either way I wish them good luck. Why? Putting micro nuclear power plants in dense populated areas will never clear all the safety hurdles. I would expect the small towns in the middle of nowhere to get approvals first which is happening near me and still took a really long time.
