When it seems like a worthwhile upgrade to something I want to learn and use, I jump in with both feet and quite enjoy it.
When it feels like the only reason for the migration is for a VP to leverage it into an SVP or CIO role at a new company, I’m less thrilled. These migrations are long, painful, and it feels like pulling teeth every step of the way, because no one in the organization is really on board.
