for me: when the competition is good and the skill level is good-enough then go in-person for the best $ value. local college sports are great for this
nba games are very expensive and time consuming to attend. theres another risk where the nba season is so taxing that some of the best players will sit out games to reduce injury risk. buying an nba ticket for a visiting team with a superstar also risks losing value at their whim
this would be a major advance in sports if it works as advertised. even better if it lets me use other apps in the immersion of the game. users could browse the internet or play some game during timeouts and free throws
