I couldnt order anything on that menu page as no images. Hmm, maybe their site is having issues. Tried Chrome, worked fine. So I went and turned my adblock off & on and rechecked. Yup. Thats the deal.
But wait, there is more. I installed ublock in Chrome and reran the web page. The page rendered fine.. Back to FF with ublock.. no images of the food.
Try for yourself. Try and order a pizza on Dominoes with FF and an ad blocker.
I understand the reasons but they don't sit right with me.

..and yes, hardly Hacker news but it annoyed me enough to throw caution to the wind.
It's not that I never see what you're describing - I do all the time. I didn't get it here tho.
