America Is in a Serious Jobs Slump

It's understandable that some people get emotional over politics, but if you look at where the US economy was a year ago, it's not a stretch to say that deporting a ready and willing work force, occupying cities with military force, and invoking ridiculous tariffs can have a direct effect on the market. Aggressive culture war nonsense and poor economic choices consistently wreak havoc on the bottom line for everyone below the 1% year over year. Go look at the last 70 years of economic data and you'll see the dips where you expect them. The current administration is bad for business.

I found this part insightful:

However, even opportunities within those industries appear to be shrinking.

This part is more obvious but good to have confirmation - we need less college graduates in random low (economic) value fields and more people in trades:
