I know it's hard to navigate life when you are a disabled person's caregiver, our society is very ableist. But imagine how much harder is to the disabled people themselves...
I hope the author is more careful with Nat now (this is from 2003 after all)
Reading this article and considering its theme, it is so sad I didn't learn about Nat. I only know how he gives life lessons indirectly to his family.
