70k Government Ids Leaked in Discord Data Breach

It wasn't their regular ID verification data that was leaked. Discord made me verify my ID in retaliation for reporting trust and safety issues emanating from their own platform. It was their Trust & Safety data from Zendesk. Discord is calling Trust & Safety reports, which include reports escalated to their legal department and can involve violence and minors whom they request IDs to verify ages. The people whose trust was just betrayed are probably afraid to speak up.
