1 replyCharging for self-hosted runners was always a strategic misalignment. The primary reason teams use self-hosted is not to save money, but for security (VPC access) and specialized hardware (GPUs/ARM). Adding a tax on infrastructure that GitHub doesn't even provide or maintain felt like double-dipping. Glad to see they realized this before eroding more developer trust
