The U.s. Struggles to Break Out From China's Grip on Rare Earths

I followed a story of a Californian mining company, hoping to develop a new rare earth mine. At market rates for rare earth materials, it would have been about 50 years before investors would see a return on investment. So when China temporarily flooded the market with rare earth materials, investors vanished.

Is there a mutual fund I could buy that would invest in strategic US mining ventures? And wouldn’t drop them at the first sign of market manipulation?
