it's "SPR AVS", a new _protocol_ of course (a "chip" cannot replace protocol like bluetooth). Key quote:

It seems improbable that SPR AVS is same the initialism for two distinct new separate features. Apple announced the charging one. This bluetooth alternative is pure unfounded speculation.
