2 repliesI’d like to know what the average CPU utilisation is across all modern iPhones. What do people need so much power for, other than bloated new iOS UI effects? My phone is now three generations behind and it never struggles to do anything.

The quicker it completes the op the quicker the cpu goes back to low power state. Battery life.

The new phones are faster though. I use tow different gen phones and you can def feel web pages load faster even just 1 gen up.
