And so, instead, I've been using Google hardware for years. I think the happiest I was might have been with the Pixel 5a, it was cheap and had a headphone jack and just felt like really good value.
Now I'm on the pixel 8 pro and I'm genuinely thinking for my next upgrade to be an iPhone. The reason is that, if this is the direction that they're going for I'd rather just get a proper walled garden than one that's just not really going to be there.
