I mean, maybe, but does it matter? Time will tell, I'll just use whatever is more convenient. I use Termux everyday, but I'll happily switch if the native option is better.

Ironically, the "native" option isn't really native, it's a virtual machine.

Termux on the other hand is actually native, your Linux apps are running natively on Android's Linux kernel, no virtualisation involved.

WSL was far from the end of msys2/cygwin. This will be the same.
